“I like to invite you for a guest lecture at the Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden”, said Ute Vrijburg, former Executive Director of the European Hobie Cat Association. We used to work together on several Hobie Championships. Nowadays, she is employed by the Communication Department of this northern institute for higher education (Bachelor degree). One of her courses is Communications & Sports, given to international students. Ute asked me to talk about my profession as freelance sports journalist and about how the events communications work. Since I have always enjoyed the lectures based on true experiences, I found it an honour to present my own business to people with a whole career ahead of them.
